Free Yoga Day – A Labor Day Celebration

8:30 am – 12:00 pm, Monday, September 5th – Menil Park

Come celebrate all that we are and do as a labor of love. Let us celebrate our courage, strength, gentleness and sweetness, … our love of living and of life itself. We will weave together our thoughts and intentions, prayers and blessings, hopes and dreams – for ourselves, family, friends, and community. Celebrate ALL beings everywhere with this sweet labor of love.

Join us on Free Yoga Day, Labor Day September 5th at Menil Park in Houston for a fantastic and fun celebration. Festivities begin at 8:30 am with meditation, then Raye Lynn Rath presents a full spectrum yoga class for all levels starting at 9:30 am. Raye Lynn’s class will be followed by music from Tyagaraja Welch. Learn more about Tyagaraja here. Everyone is invited to stay and picnic all day at the park in celebration of Free Day of Yoga.

Raye Lynn Rath

Raye Lynn Rath, CYT, ERYT 500 is the owner and director of The Yoga Institute with studios in Houston and Clear Lake. She is also co-founder of Sacred Art Yoga, offering 200 and 500 Level Teacher Training Programs, Advanced Studies, Workshops and Retreats. Raye Lynn began practicing yoga in 1972 and has been teaching public and private classes since 1993. She received her first certification at The Yoga Institute in 1993 and an Anusara Yoga Teacher Certification in 2001. In teaching, Raye Lynn focuses on working with students to rediscover the greatness of their own heart and being. Her teaching is enthusiastic, inspiring and empowering. Raye Lynn’s clear and precise teaching style is balanced with the stability of knowledge , the discernment and openness of inquiry, and the celebration of life.
